Generation Code

Event Date: 16/01/18 - 21/03/18

Pupils will have fun getting to grips with computer programming in our new interactive coding workshops.

In these practical sessions we’ll be using the latest child-friendly Raspberry Pi computers to inspire children to get creative with technology. Children will go beyond using screens to use basic coding languages, such as Scratch, to control real world objects in fun and unexpected ways.

  • Choose from beginner, intermediate or advanced to challenge your pupil’s computational thinking skills whatever level they are at.
  • For KS1 & KS2 and aligned to the computing curriculum and full of Eureka! interactive fun.

Why not combine this workshop with a visit to our new award-winning exhibition digiPlaySpace. Here for 6 months only from July – December 2017, digiPlaySpace is an immersive learning experience full of interactive (and very cool) multi-media installations from around the world. Please note that due to high demand, digiPlaySpace can only be visited during a pre-booked timed visit.

Generously supported by our friends at Pimoroni, who make tech treasure for tinkerers! Check out their website for loads of products and fun ideas to make electronics accessible.
