Designed for especially for Early Years, our new storytelling show Reach for the Stars will transport your children into space. Children will blast off on an adventure to the moon and find our about the lunar landings 50 years ago.
Reach for the Stars will also be running throughout Early Years Week from 14th May – 17th May – when we reserve for our youngest visitors to take over the museum.
As experts in child development our interactive shows are designed to support the Early Learning Goals in a way that ignites their curiosity and enthusiam for learning.
Early Learning Goals:
Listening and attention: Children listen attentively in a range of situations. They listen to stories, accurately anticipating key events and respond to what they hear with relevant comments, questions or actions.
Exploring and using media and materials: Children sing songs, make music and dance, and experiment with ways of changing them.
Mathematics: Shape, space and measures: Children explore characteristics of everyday objects and shapes and use mathematical language to describe them.
