Calderdale

Eureka! is lucky enough to be found in Halifax, part of Calderdale.

Calderdale is a truly unique part of the world – bringing together a mix of history, industry, culture, breath-taking views and a sprinkling of Yorkshire grit (that’s why Calderdale calls itself pretty-gritty!).

Why not explore a bit while you’re in the area?

Halifax town is easy to get around and there are shops, places to eat and lots to see and do for the whole family. Just up the road from Eureka! is the amazing Piece Hall – due to reopen later this year, and definitely worth a visit!

Halifax also has country parks, museums, theatres, shopping, cycling, arts & activity centres and a whole host of interesting history – check out the Hali-Facts trail here for a fun way to discover hidden gems around Halifax town.

If you want to explore a bit further  we’d recommend exploring some of the other quirky and fun towns in the area: Hebden Bridge, Brighouse, Todmorden and Sowerby Bridge are just a short train ride away and have canal boats, indoor climbing, markets, cinemas, and even a lucky dog.

There are loads of events and festivals happening year-round so why not check out what else is going while you’re here visiting Eureka!
