Celebrate the winter season with our festive show and Santa's Grotto!

See the museum as never before as we get festive. We have extra activities and Christmas magic with decorations and a huge outdoor tree.

Meet the friendliest elves around as well as Father Christmas himself in our Santa’s Grotto – “one of the best in the UK” according to NetMums. Plus, you can watch our festive show ‘Snow Day’ and see Jack Frost help a child experience the magic of snow for the very first time.

Our winter show and Santa’s Grotto are running on the following days:

  • Weekdays Wed 27 Nov – Fri 29 Nov
  • Weekend Sat 30 Nov – Sun 1 Dec
  • Weekend Sat 7 – Sun 8 Dec
  • Weekend Sat 14 – Sun 15 Dec
  • Every day Thurs 19 – Mon 23 Dec
  • Including our Toddler Day on Thurs 19 Dec
  • Note: Weekdays 26 Nov – 18 Dec: Santa’s grotto opening times are 2.30pm – 3.45pm
