BIG Summer Festival

Event Date: 22/07/17 - 03/09/17

Book your visit

Visit Eureka! this summer for a boredom-busting festival of tech, science, performance and play, including digiPlaySpace, new exhibition all the way from Canada!

Come rain or shine, our Big Summer festival will include a fun mix of science busking, interactive storytelling and craft activities, plus kids (and grown-ups) can try their hand at coding, animation and more with a changing programme of digital activities. There will also be regular visits from storytellers Gacko and Ian Douglas, and experience the explosive science of Professor Pumpernickel.

Visitors will also be able to experience the best and most innovative in digital art for kids in digiPlaySpace, in Europe for the very first time thanks to funding by the Arts Council of England.

On different days you’ll be able to:

  • Experience digiPlaySpace – in Europe for the very first time!
  • Have a go at coding, filming and robotics!
  • Witness Professor Pumpernickel’s explosive science show
  • Join in with interactive storytelling shows
  • Meet and hear tales from storytellers Gacko and Ian Douglas

Our BIG Summer Festival is sponsored by our friends at DM Keith.
