Sleepovers

Fancy spending a night in a museum?

We open the museum overnight a few times a year for pre-organised groups.

Museum sleepovers are a night to remember!

We hold museum sleepovers for pre-arranged groups to explore our galleries, take part in workshops and demonstrations, all rounded off by camping in the museum overnight. They really make a night to remember, just don’t forget your sleeping bag!

Who can come to a Sleepover?

  • Sleepovers are available for pre-organised groups of children (e.g. schools, Brownies, Cubs etc) in Years 4 to 6 (i.e. aged 8-11yrs) and are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • The smallest group we can book is 5 children and 1 adult.
  • The maximum number per group is 50 children.
  • Sleepovers can only accommodate 140 children in total so early booking is advised.
  • Unfortunately, sleepovers are not available for individual family groups.
  • Unfortunately we are not able to organise bespoke events for large groups such as a district of Brownies or Beavers

Upcoming sleepovers:

  • Friday 15th March 2019

For more information about our sleepovers and to be kept up to date with news of future dates, please Email Leanne Wise and request to be added to the sleepover mailing list.

How much does it cost?

Sleepovers cost £28.50 per child and £12 per adult.
