Spring Term: 20 January to 25 March 2015

Reach for the Stars – 20 January to 25 March
A playful session for Early Years groups where they will blast off on an adventure to the moon and take part in imaginative and interactive fun with our resident storyteller and maker.

Summer Term: 28 April to 10 July

Nature’s Stage – 12 May to 10 JulyExplorers in jungle
A playful session exploring the theme of minibeasts. Using storytelling and puppetry children will be taken on an imaginative adventure to learn more about these tiniest of creatures and their habitats.

Early Years week – 12 to 15 May

This is a special time at Eureka! as our youngest visitors have the museum all to themselves with no primary bookings taken during the week. Take part in our new EY workshop ‘Nature’s Stage’, and additional drop-in themed activities taking place through the museum plus…

We’re pleased to announce that for Early Years week only, groups will also be able to meet a variety of farmyard animals from Ripon based farm, Riggmoor Reindeer & Co






When can you book?

We’ve carefully selected the following time slots to ensure that groups benefit from dedicated gallery time, discovery time and time out.

  • Early Morning: From 10:00 to 13:45
    10:15 – 11.15 Self guided gallery time
    11:15 – 12:15 Discovery time
    12:30 – 13:45 Time out
    (to eat, explore outdoors and visit the shop)
    13:45 Depart
  • Late Morning: From 11:00 to 14:45
    11:00 – 12:30 Time out
    (to eat, explore outdoors and visit the shop)
    12:30 – 13:30 Self guided gallery time
    13:30 – 14:30 Discovery time
    14:45 Depart
  • Afternoon Visit: From 12:15 to 15:45
    12:15 – 13:30 Time out
    (to eat, explore outdoors and visit the shop)
    13:30 – 14:30 Discovery time
    14:30 – 15:45 Self guided gallery time
    15:45 Depart
