Opening times

During term-time:

• Monday - closed
• Tuesday - 10am - 4pm
• Wednesday - - 10am - 4pm
• Thursday - 10am - 4pm
• Friday - 10am - 4pm
• Saturday - 10am - 5pm
• Sunday - 10am - 5pm

During holidays and bank holidays we are open every day from 10am - 5pm.

You can also view a full list of dates when the museum will be closed and for term dates.

Last Admissions

Please note that last admission is one hour before closing time.

Admission prices

The standard Eureka! ticket is now an Annual Pass! This means that you pay once, then come back as many times as you like over the next 12 months. Read more about the Annual Pass

• Tesco Vouchers
  Please note that Tesco Vouchers are valid for a standard day visit only, and cannot be converted into an annual pass.
• Yorkshire pass & discount vouchers
  If you're using a Yorkshire Pass, or a discount voucher with a value of more than 10% off you will be issued a day ticket. These tickets cannot be booked online.

Group visitors to Eureka! will be issued a day ticket. Information about visiting in a group of 10 or more people.

Parking at Eureka!

Pay and display parking is available in the on-site Eureka! car park, open every day (except 24-26 December) from 5.30am to 8.00pm.
The pay-and-display machines accept all coins except 1p, 2p and 5p. Please make sure you have the exact amount as no change is given. Car parking charges are:

• Up to 4 hours - £3
• Up to 12 hours - £6
• Up to 24 hours - £10

Busy times

Eureka! is usually very busy during half-term and in wet weather. To avoid long queues and busy galleries we recommend visiting on sunny days and during weekends in term-time.

During half-term, especially February and October half-term, visitors are advised to come after 2pm to avoid long queues.
