Look out for Arctic foxes, ringed seals and even polar bears as you travel to the cold and icy north. Your journey will be worth it when you arrive at Father Christmas’ magical grotto where he’ll ask about your travels and find out what you would like for Christmas this year.
The Eureka! Christmas Grotto will be open as follows:
- Weekdays from 1-19 December, 3pm-4.30pm
- Weekends from 6-21 December, 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm
- Weekdays 22-23 December, 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm
Entrance to the main museum is free for children on purchase of a grotto ticket, priced £5 per child and £2 per child for under-3s.
Grotto tickets include a free gift and adult admissions apply.
Please note, promotional offers and complimentary tickets are valid on museum admission tickets but not on grotto tickets.

Calderdale’s coolest attraction is back! The Rink returns to the Piece Hall, Halifax, from Saturday, November 22nd to Sunday, January 4th.

The Rink is open every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years’ Day.
