Enter the world of snozzcumbers and whizzpoppers at Eureka! this September to celebrate the life and works of much-loved children’s author, Roald Dahl. The Museum for Children in Halifax, West Yorkshire is celebrating Roald Dahl’s birthday on Saturday 13 September with a whole weekend of activities, including a chance to make your own revolting recipes and marvellous medicines.

Eureka! Summer Circus
Roll up, roll up, the circus is coming to Eureka!. Yes, ladies and gents, boys and girls, this summer from Saturday 19 July, visitors to the children’s museum in Halifax, West Yorkshire will be able to practice exciting circus skills, from clowning to stilt walking. And for the whole month of August experience the thrill of a real live circus, complete with a ‘little’ big top and a troupe of brave, bold, danger-defying performing artistes.

Eureka! went automatic, systematic, hydromatic today when a couple of T-Birds rolled up at the children’s museum alongside teen group Elastic Band in a pink Cadillac to celebrate the launch of The July Project, West Yorkshire’s newest major festival for children and young people.
