Desert Discovery
Desert Discovery is a touchy-feely desert-themed environment offering babies and young children the opportunity to explore, build, create and communicate.
- Boulder mountain and cactus construction: children don hard hats and vests to mine soft ‘boulders’ and create their own structures, also using a unique bucket lift to transport materials and telephone to communicate and work together.
- Storytime tent: dress up and role play as a variety of desert dwelling people and animals and gather around a fire pit to share stories of your adventures.
- Desert in the dark: learn about day and night and discover what happens when it gets dark in the desert. Not every living thing goes to sleep, and children can meet some of those that don't!
